Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, episode 20, "Scars" EXPECTATIONS

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns tonight with “Scars” (2x20) at 9:00 PM Eastern/Pacific.  What do we expect from tonight's episode?

What happened in the last episode, “The Dirty Half Dozen”?

Coulson and his original team infiltrated List’s Arctic base to rescue Deathlok and Lincoln.  Skye did some badass fighting, both with her powers and without.  The team succeeded in rescuing the prisoners, though List escaped to rendezvous with Strucker in Sokovia.  Coulson also gathered information on Loki’s Scepter, Strucker’s base in Sokovia, and the Twins, all of which he transmitted to Maria Hill (explaining how she had all that information for Cap in Avengers: Age of Ultron).  They brought Lincoln and Skye back to the Playground, and Gonzales was a little too happy to have them on his base.  Oh, and [SPOILER] Hydra is no longer a credible threat following the events of Age of Ultron.

Episode Synopsis for “Love in the Time of Hydra”:

“Skye is torn between her loyalty to S.H.I.E.L.D. and her connection to the Inhumans as tensions rise between the groups—and Coulson reveals a secret he’s been hiding from even those closest to him.”

Continuing plot points:

• Skye’s powers and the Inhumans

• The “Real S.H.I.E.L.D.”/“S.H.I.E.L.D.” conflict

• So what is Ward up to?

• The tie-in between Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Avengers: Age of Ultron

What I am looking for tonight:

• Skye will be forced to choose between S.H.I.E.L.D. (Coulson) and the Inhumans (Jiaying)

• Perhaps a little more witty banter between Lincoln and Deathlok—though Deathlok may be on his way to whatever “facility” Fitz and Simmons mentioned where they can repair his leg

• Another confrontation between Coulson and Gonzales

• The revelation of what’s in the Iliad’s cargo hold

• A lot of setup for the finale

What would be awesome but probably won’t happen:

I mentioned this on Sunday, but what if this episode involves Ultron bots assaulting Afterlife, and S.H.I.E.L.D. sending jets to help defend Afterlife (with assistance from some Inhumans)?
