My articles from the week

Well, there’s finally some stuff to write about up here!

First up is my review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Next, expectations and non-spoiler review for Spider-Man: Homecoming, which may be one of the best Marvel movies to-date!

MCU News

Jeremy Renner broke both arms doing a stunt for Tag.  It was previously reported that he was injured on the set of Avengers: Infinity War, but that was incorrect.  However, he is still filming on both movies.

Randall Park has been cast to play S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jimmy Woo in Ant-Man and the Wasp.  It’s nice to see S.H.I.E.L.D. returning to the big screen.  Considering that Park plays one of the leads on Fresh of the Boat, which led into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a while, perhaps he will have a role on AoS before the movie comes out next summer.

Samuel L. Jackson is confirmed to be appearing in Captain Marvel, but there’s no word on how large a role he will play.

Luke Cage season 2 added two new cast members, one of whom is reportedly playing a character already announced for Black Panther.  Huh.
