My articles from the week
This week I did not publish the
second part of my Iron Fist review (looking at Colleen Wing), so expect
that on Monday.
Instead, we have expectations
and review
for the first episode in the Framework pod of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season
4: “What If…” (4x16).

The Defenders now has an official premiere date: August 18!
I was kind of expecting it a couple months sooner so The Punisher
could release around October or so, but I’ll take it.
Jessica Jones season 2 will start filming
this Monday.
Daredevil season 3 will also start filming
this year.
Here
is the newly-released synopsis for The Inhumans:
“After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”
It makes sense for the majority
of the series to be set on Earth (for budgetary purposes), but I hope they will
set at least part of the first 2 episodes (the “movie”) in Attilan.
Cloak and Dagger has received a 10-episode order.
And at the same time, Freeform
has also ordered New Warriors to series. The two shows may run at the same time in the
Winter 2018. Thus far we know that there
will be 6 characters, one of whom will be Squirrel Girl, but that’s all we
know.

So it looks like Wonder Woman is projected for over $80 million on its opening weekend.
