Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3, Episode 6, "Among Us Hide..." EXPECTATIONS

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns tonight with “Among Us Hide…” (3x06) at 9:00 PM Eastern/Pacific.  This is the 50th episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.! What do we expect from tonight's episode?

What happened in the last episode, “4,722 Hours”?

Last week we found out exactly what happened to Simmons on the alien planet:  she met a NASA astronaut named Will.  He helped her survive on the planet, and while they were alone on the planet they developed feelings for each other.  However, there was also an entity of some sort on the planet with them, which may or may not have caused the other astronauts to go mad and may or may not have been trying to kill Will and Simmons.  At the end of the episode Fitz agreed to help Simmons figure out how to reopen the Monolith and rescue Will.

Episode Synopsis for “Among Us Hide…”:

“The stakes get even higher as Hunter and May continue to go after Ward and Hydra, and Daisy and Coulson begin to suspect that the ATCU may be keeping a big secret from S.H.I.E.L.D.”

Continuing plot points:

• Coulson’s new arm
• Skye rebuilding the Inhumans and recruiting her Secret Warriors simultaneously
• The “Terrigen Bomb—Fish Oil Version”
• Ward rebuilding Hydra
• Simmons the disappearing scientist

What I am looking for tonight:

• We’re going to meet Gideon Malick, and we might find out where his loyalties lie
• We’ll also find out where Hunter and May’s plot will go now that Ward escaped from them
• On a related note, I’m pretty sure we’ll discover whether or not Andrew is dead
• Fitz and Simmons will start working on getting back to the planet
• We will find out Lash’s civilian identity

What would be awesome but probably won’t happen:

You know, this section has been pretty difficult of late.  I guess it would be pretty awesome if we found out that Andrew was saved by a team of new Inhumans who have been fighting together for a while.
