Weekly MCU Review for January 7

Another week, and more MCU news!  Not all that much to talk about.  Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is still raking it in at the box office, Star Wars Rebels returns tonight as Saw Gerrera joins the Rebels, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: LMD starts up again next week.  Put some ketchup on your eggs, and catch-up on your Marvel news!

Doctor Strange will be available on Blu-Ray and DVD on February 28.

Doctor Strange has been confirmed to appear in Thor: Ragnarok.  That’s not earth-shattering news after the post-credits scene from Doctor Strange, but it’s still good to know.

Would you like to see a James Gunn-directed Moon Knight movie?  Gunn would like to.  I question if Moon Knight is too dark for an MCU movie, but if Gunn were showrunner for a Moon Knight Netflix series, that would be really cool.

Jeremy Renner is still interested in a Black Widow/Hawkeye movie.  I would be interested, too, but it would probably only work on Netflix (or maybe ABC) if Marvel is interested in expanding their options, as they showed with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot back in December.
