Agents of
S.H.I.E.L.D. returns tonight with “Devils You Know” (3x04) at 9:00 PM
Eastern/Pacific. What do we expect from tonight's episode?
Also, be sure to come back here at 5:00 PM Eastern Time for my 200th article, which will explore the idea of Official National Heroes.

What happened in
the last episode, “A Wanted (Inhu)man”?
Daisy and Mack race to
track down Lincoln before the A.T.C.U. can get to him while Coulson arranged a
meeting with Rosalind. Coulson agrees to
hand Lincoln over to the A.T.C.U. to protect Daisy’s identity, but Lincoln
escapes, necessitating Coulson to make a deal to cooperate with Rosalind. Meanwhile, Hunter has to fight (and
presumably kill) an old friend to gain a meeting with Hydra. And Fitz tries to help Simmons readjust to
life on Earth, only for her to reveal that she needs to go back to the alien
planet.
Episode Synopsis
for “Devils You Know”:
“Having reluctantly
agreed to share information with Rosalind and the ATCU, Coulson and the team go
in search for the Inhuman who is killing off other Inhumans, and May feels that
Hunter’s mission to take down Ward is getting too personal.”
Continuing plot
points:
- Coulson’s new arm
- Skye rebuilding the Inhumans and recruiting her Secret Warriors simultaneously
- The “Terrigen Bomb—Fish Oil Version”
- Ward rebuilding Hydra
- Simmons the disappearing scientist
What I am looking for
tonight:
- Tension between the A.T.C.U. and S.H.I.E.L.D. (obviously)
- Tension between Hunter and May
- Hunter going kind of insane trying to get close to Ward
- We will learn at least a little more about Lash and his back story
- More Inhumans! Among others, I’m pretty sure I saw Alisha (“Ginger Ninjas”) in the preview for the episode.
- Simmons will start the explanation of why she needs to go back
What would be
awesome but probably won’t happen:
We will see some
flashbacks showing Orollan intact, and it will be a much more impressive (and
permanent) city than Lai Shi was.
So what are you
looking for in tonight’s episode? What
is there that you really want to see but may not see at all?
