My articles from the week

I did not post a lot of articles this week; I plan to get into my summer posting schedule (side) next week.  My first article (and only review) was of Daredevil episode 6, “Condemned.”  What did you think of the episode?

In case you missed Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2—or need a refresher—here is my recap of the season.  What was your favorite part of the season?

And now that you’ve caught up on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2, it’s time for us to startlooking ahead to season 3!  What are you most looking forward to in AoS season 3?

Avengers: Age of Ultron is now the highest-grossing movie of 2015 at the domestic box office.  However, it’s only around half the domestic gross of the first Avengers ($372 million vs. $623 million).  Think it will catch up?  How many times have you seen it so far?

Casting has alreadybegun for Guardians of the Galaxy 2.  Apparently there will be two people joining the team this time around:  one new and one old.  Who is your pick for the newest Guardian (and played by whom)?  Which established character do you want to see join the Guardians?

Chris Pratt revealed some contract details recently:  He is signed on for 3-5 more movies, 2 of which will presumably be GotG sequels.  What other movies do you want to see him in?  I would guess at least one Avengers: Infinity War movie, along with a couple of space-based spinoff movies (Nova, perhaps?).

Take a look at some more Captain America: Civil War production pictures.  What do you find most interesting?

According to Jeremy Renner’s twitter, this may be the logo for Captain America: Civil War.

Anything not related to the MCU that I find interesting

D.C. is introducing anall-female retro team consisting of Supergirl, Bat Woman, and Wonder Woman fighting on the frontlines of World War II.  Is this the D.C. response to Marvel’s A-Force all-female team-up?  Are you interested in seeing these three characters get a reimagining?

DC vs. Marvel mix-n-match chess set.  You want?

Rumor:  The Batman v. Superman Wonder Woman is going to be hundreds of years old!  And all the teenage boys in the audience just went “EWWWWWWWWWWWW”!  Kidding aside, what are your thoughts on this rumor?

The Supergirl pilot leaked online this week, and it’s already generating buzz.  Do you think this will hurt the series when it actually premieres in the fall, or do you think it will actually help?  Do you think it might even have been intentional?

Michael B. Jordan addressed the critics who derided his casting as Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, this week.  What did you think of the casting at the time?  Has that changed?  I admit I was one of those who thought they needed to be true to the comics instead of “pandering to the PC crowd.”  However, as of now I’m willing to give him—and the movie—a chance instead of prejudging it as a terrible rights-holder that will prevent Marvel from being able to use the F4 for another 5-10 years.  I think I might even be willing to see it in theaters (gasp)!
