Here
is a “prelude trailer” to Captain America: Civil War, starting from the
beginning for Iron Man and Captain America and building to footage from the
most recent trailer.
If there are any readers living
in China, there’s good news: Captain
America: Civil War will receive a Chinese release!
Alfre Woodard has been announced
as appearing
in Captain America: Civil War.
She already plays Mariah Dillard in Luke Cage, but this character
seems to be unrelated. I’m kind of
disappointed about that; if they had coordinated better, they could have found
a way to connect the two characters in a minor way. At the same time, I do get that Civil War
started filming well before she was cast in Luke Cage.
Who is Mads Mikkelsen playing in Doctor
Strange??? Also, the movie has
wrapped filming.
Would you like to see the Spider-Man
reboot movie titled “Spider-Man: Homecoming”? I suppose it does make a certain degree of
sense. Would you prefer one of the
second round of rumored titles: Spider-Man: Coming of Age, Spider-Man:
Greatness Awaits, or Spider-Man: Suspended? I think my preference of the four would be
either Homecoming or Coming of Age. They kind of get worse as you go down the
line in my opinion.
Breaking news: there will be other Marvel characters
in the Spider-Man reboot! In other
news, WATER IS WET!!!!! It should
be fairly obvious that with Spider-Man a part of the MCU, there will be Marvel
Studios-owned characters appearing
Here
is our first look at the Secret Warriors in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
season 3, episode 17, “The Team”:

Awesome!
Cloak and Dagger is coming to ABC’s Freeform TV! If it premiers in the fall, that would put Marvel up to potentially five network TV series with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel's Most Wanted, Damage Control, Agent Carter, and Cloak and Dagger. Wow, that's a lot of TV to watch... Who else is excited for this?
News from Around Geekdom
Anything not related to the MCU
that I find interesting
Batman v. Superman dropped almost 70%
in its second weekend out. Ouch.
The Wonder Woman movie had
its release date shifted forward a couple weeks, so it will now open on June 2, 2017. WB also announced 2 untitled DC movies for
October 5, 2018, and November 1, 2019.
What do you think of these plans?
Could Cyborg be appearing
in The Flash movie in 2018? That
could be pretty cool.
The first trailer
for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is pretty awesome! Who’s excited for December?
